What Americans Can Learn From Viktor Orbán’s Courage

Flouting the Orthodoxy

Despite this double blow from the American uniparty elite, some American leaders pose an existential threat to the system and flout its restrictive orthodoxies. The most notable one in America is former President Donald Trump.

For an American Orbánism

When I spoke in favor of an American Orbánism at CPAC Hungary earlier this year, I was predictably derided as a fascist and a racist. Even more ridiculously, the Left slurred me as somehow unpatriotic. Giving praise to Orbán and saying we in America should emulate his movement made me anti-American. How dare I say that another country is promoting better policies than those promoted by the American government?

Getting America Right

This is exactly why it is necessary to discuss matters of race, culture, and nationalism actively and openly. The heresy that “America is an idea,” which has been eloquently dispelled by Carlson in recent weeks, is nearly as dangerous a notion as the Marxist ideology it unwittingly empowers. The ideas that underpinned America were developed by a people with a distinct culture and heritage which they maintained through generations of strife and perpetuated through ceaseless noble efforts. The English people fought and bled for the steep and unprecedented advancements in human freedom that were codified and expanded upon in the U.S. Constitution, from the Magna Carta in 1215 to the Petition of Right of 1628 to the Grand Remonstrance of 1641, and finally, to the English Bill of Rights of 1689.
